this is a great read! The book Things That Were

If you have young one who loves technology, this is a great read! The book Things That Were, Things That Are, and Things That May Become gives a very appropriate amount of facts to children regarding where technology was, is now, and what may be commonplace in the future. My six year old son is very science minded, and as most kids do, loves technology. He had a great time learning about a telegraph, and seeing what a future computer could possibly look like. The pictures helped him to understand what we were reading about, they truly enhance the reader's experience. As with other Baby Professor books, the ending is abrupt, which I don't care for. That aside, I would still recommend this book as it is a good introduction for children. I did receive the opportunity to read this book at a discount in exchange for my fair and honest review. The discount did not sway my opinion.

A little short, but the kiddos liked it!

I wish this book was a little longer, but my boys really enjoyed this! They love anything scientific and really enjoy fun little facts. Overall, I am happy with this!

Amusing and fun way to introduce the historical concept of technology. Great book for anyone at home or school.

This book “Things That Were, Things That Are and Things That May Become: Technology Books for Kids ” belongs to a Children’s book series published by Speedy Publishing. We love Speedy Publishing Children’s book series as they usually come with excellent photos and basic references that are quite suitable for the underage, for those small family members at home, for those parents who love to teach their children at home and this type of books serve well for teaching purposes at school too.
This book refers about the use of technology around the world and the influence of technology and how it makes people’s life easier. Old technology, today’s technology and future technology is mentioned on this book.
As things that were, you will read about old technology like the Telegraph machine. Steam Locomotives as the useful vehicles they were and still are in some places; the first personal computers, antique automobiles, all of them considered as things that were.
As things that are, technology of today such the mobile phone, modern trains, modern computers and modern cars.
