The Bridge Across The River is manufactured by Createspace publications, an imprint of the Amazon Corporation. My wife and I have purchased no less than two dozen of these books for our friends and relatives, and except for one all were in excellent condition when they arrived. (We received one copy with some torn pages, and after contacting Createspace/Amazon the book was replaced promptly free of charge. They did not even ask for us to return the defective book to them.) I am quite pleased with the quality of this book, and with the service provided to me by Createspace and Amazon. Thank you to everyone who participated in the creation of this book, most especially my best friend, Tana Halvorsen.
About the Author
As a child and young adult, Shepherd Thorleif Halvorsen read all of the classic books of nursery rhymes and poetry that he could find, including the entire collections of Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein. It only made sense that one day he would write his own material, and The Bridge Across The River is a collection of his best efforts thus far. Essentially, The Bridge Across The River is intended to make children laugh - and when they laugh they are smiling, and when they are smiling they are happy. And the creation of happiness is the main goal of this author and this book.
